Vote for K'naan and Read this BBC Article
Hey, K'naan has been nominated for "Best International Act" in this year's Urban Music Awards! Click here to vote for him. I don't think that any artist has had nearly as much of an impact internationally as K'naan has this year with Wavin Flag, its reachin everyone!
Also, found this article interviewing K'naan on BBC. They talk about Wavin' Flag's impact internationally, as well as K'naan's upbringing, music, and impact as a role model. The article does a great job of talking about how his music portrays messages, unlike most pop on the radio, and how he doesn't want to be responsible for the deaths of Somalis just trying to watch TV. K'naan is truly a great leader and example to this generation, where true role models are hard to find.
