K'naan talks about how it has been difficult to resist the ease of rapping about less heavy and political things like most other artists in the game. He explains how he feels responsible for shedding light on his people for their sake, but mostly for his own. He shares the guilt he feels for surviving what a lot of other loved ones didn't.
